Plymouth, Wisconsin– In celebration of Earth Day (April 22, 2019), Arch Electric celebrated InkWorks Printing completion of a 73.8kw solar panel system. This system, the largest in the city of Plymouth, WI, will assist InkWorks with their renewable energy initiatives and cover 55% of their electrical needs.
The partnership in sustainability efforts allowed for the project to be commissioned in April 2019; the 208 REC solar panels are expected to have an annual carbon offset of 504 tons, annual coal equivalent of 250 tons and annual tree equivalent of 538 acres. “With the expertise of Arch Electric and the Focus on Energy Grant, we are now able to power our future with the power from the sun”, noted Bob Travis, Owner of InkWorks Printing. Solar electric systems, also known as photovoltaic (PV) systems, use sunlight to generate electricity.
Arch Electric is Wisconsin’s leader in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Energy and Storage. They are the leading solar installer in the state of Wisconsin and have offices located in Plymouth and Milwaukee. The event invited community leaders from across Sheboygan County to join in the celebration.
