Director of Residential Solar for Arch Solar
ANGIE KOCHANSKI
Angie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies-Environmental Security from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008. Shortly thereafter she began her career in the solar industry in 2012 working at a panel manufacturing company for four years until coming to work for Arch Electric in 2016. She takes pride in being a resource for homeowners and businesses as they make a commitment to invest in solar and ensures that they feel confident through each step of the process. She is also one of few nationally to hold a NABCEP PV Technical Sales Certification.
She has a passion for people which shows in her volunteer work. She spent two years in Ameri-corps doing service work that ranged from disaster relief in New Orleans to work with disabled adults in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Back home in Milwaukee, she has volunteered in community gardens, food co-ops, and public schools, and is currently volunteering with a dog rescue organization and serves on the board of Legacy Solar Co-op.
Angie’s favorite part about working for Arch Electric is witnessing the growth of solar and the jobs created for Wisconsinites in renewable energy. She states, “Creating opportunities for more people to be employed in an industry I love is exciting!”
When Angie isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, camping, cooking, going on walks with her dog, and occasionally bartending at her husband’s polka bar, Kochanski’s Concertina Beer Hall in Milwaukee.
Fun fact about Angie: She is on a ladies bowling league that bowls at the oldest sanctioned bowling lanes in US!
