The HR Manager is a leader responsible for recruiting, employee management, & performance efforts for assigned Arch business unit(s). This individual also plays a critical role in planning, scheduling, and reporting information to employees to ensure policies and procedures are clearly defined and implemented by the entire workforce.
2. Manage the hiring process including interview scheduling, verification of work history and references and applicant follow-up.
3. Support the further development of Apprenticeship and Internship programs.
4. Ensure employee engagement is top of mind including applicable celebrations to celebrate successes.
5. Manage employee onboarding schedules, training curriculum and checklists.
6. Manage employee offboarding.
7. Maintain HR Dashboard of certifications and training.
8. Partner with managers on employee disciplinary process, performance improvement plans and documentation.
9. Nurture a positive and safe work environment.
10. Oversee KPIs to analyze hiring needs and support a performance appraisal system.
11. Ensure company policies are implemented consistently and fairly.
12 Lead HRIS troubleshooting and data correction efforts (Paycor), ensuring alignment between systems and internal policies.
13. Regularly audit and analyze employee accounts in Paycor to maintain data accuracy and support strategic HR initiatives and proactively correct discrepancies.
14. Process and manage weekly Arch Management payroll, ensuring timely, accurate, and fully compliant execution.
15. Participate in coordinating comprehensive benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, and FSA plans assuring full accuracy and compliance.
16. 401(k) administration, including enrollment, reporting, and contribution accuracy.
17. Support open enrollment efforts, collaborating with vendors, updating systems, and guiding employees through the process.
18. Reconcile benefit accounts and ensure timely resolution of billing discrepancies.
19. Maintain precise records and partner closely with our insurance broker on plan changes and employee concerns.
20. Prepare and submit required filings including:
21. Respond to government notices, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
22. Communicate with various government entities to maintain compliance across employment, wage, and benefits laws.
23. Set up and maintain tax ID’s for out of state workers.
24. Partner with HR, and Finance to strengthen system workflows and drive efficiency.
25. Maintain a secure, electronic data environment, aligning with best practices for data protection and compliance.
26. Support Administrative tasks as needed.
