Job Title: General Manager

Reports To: President of Arch
The General Manager directs and coordinates activities of the business unit to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties or through subordinate supervisors.
1. Lead and manage the designated business unit with a focus on driving growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
2. Ensure the internal managers have measurable objectives (KPI’s) that align with company growth and profitability, while providing ongoing support and feedback.
3. Aid in development, implementation, and execution of strategic plans to grow the business unit, increase market share, and meet financial objectives with Arch O&M.
4. Monitor and support the internal teams with focus on solving roadblocks, making high-impact decisions, and ensuring strategic alignment.
5. Facilitate communication between internal departments and teams to avoid bottlenecks and ensure timely execution of projects.
6. Provide leadership in the formulation of business policies, procedures, and long-term goals while considering overall collaboration amongst all Arch business units.
7. Become familiar with, manage and develop annual budgets, forecasting, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
8. Monitor key financial metrics and provide timely feedback to the leadership team.
9. Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
10. Oversee day-to-day operations of projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
11. Assess investment opportunities for growth, technology, and team expansion.
12. Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team or professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence that align with the company’s overall vision and industry trends.
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, while serving as a point of contact for high-level negotiations.
14. Stay abreast of emerging renewable energy and energy storage technologies, trends, and market dynamics to drive innovation with the help of the internal Arch O&M team.
15. Support sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
16. Lead research and development initiatives to continually improve offerings.
17. Ensure that all solar and energy projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, and zoning requirements.
18. Ensure BU risks are Identified and managed.
