Ed’s maple syrup operation has been the most significant part of the farm business. Every spring, the family harvests sap and produces maple syrup from the trees in his dad’s 19-acre woods in Campbellsport, WI.

The family puts an average of 520 taps in each year!

Ed’s motivation for sapping has always been family. He does it so his kids get an abundant opportunity to grow up and learn from their Grandpa. It also gives grandpa the ability to build a deep relationship with each of the grandkids by spending time with them and working side-by-side in the woods.
