The month of May has been a very exciting one for us here at Arch Electric. One of the highlights was we were chosen as the solar contractor for not one, but TWO solar group buy programs in the state of Wisconsin; the Southeast WI Solar Group Buy and the Grow Solar Milwaukee Group Buy programs!
What does this mean for you?
The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) and Greening Greater Racine have done the heavy lifting for you by choosing a qualified solar contractor through a competitive bidding and vetting process (did we mention they chose US?!). This leaves you with less work and worry, and gives you the ability to focus on your savings and our environment. If you are a resident in Racine, Kenosha, or Walworth county you are encouraged to participate in the Southeast WI Solar Group Buy Program. If you are a resident of Milwaukee County, you are eligible to participate in the Grow Solar Milwaukee program.
So, why a group buy?
Working with groups such as the MREA, Greening Greater Racine, & Milwaukee Shines aligns with our vision to provide universal access to clean, affordable, renewable energy. Participating in group buy programs allows homeowners (and business owners) to work together in a group purchasing effort for materials to lower overall costs.

Who benefits from a group buy program?
Business and Homeowners: you get access to high quality work and materials for lower prices. The system will save you money on your electric bill, with the average return on investment between 3-9 years!
Mother Earth: Every solar panel installed is a solar panel that is chainging the world, or at least your community!
“The power supplied by your system reduces the amount your home has to rely on conventional utilities, which burn pollution fossil Fues to generate electricity. Every kilowatt installed lowers your home’s carbon footprint by over 3,000 pounds annually. For the average 5 kilowatt residential system, that means a reduction of more than 15,000 pounds of CO2 very year! While you won’t realistically be able to eliminate your home’s greenhouse gas emissions entirely, solar power goes a long way in shrinking household waste.” – Aresolar.com
